I don't know whether it is related, but branching is no longer workable either. Locally branching the repository, not using any server or whatnot, now takes more than 2 hours (it is actually still running) using 1.17. While doing it Bazaar grows to use 1.6GB of resident memory.
The branch is done in a new, empty shared repo using init-repo --1.14-rich-root.
I did exactly the same branch using bzr 1.14; it completed in a few minutes (it was slow because the other bzr was still burning 100% CPU and doing IO).
Bazaar now:
- cannot commit in any reasonable time
- cannot pull in any reasonable time
- cannot push in any reasonable time
- cannot branch in any reasonable time
This version is completely unusable.
