Comment 29 for bug 405251

I did the oneliner in #26 and did a full copy into empty repo again, with trees. It took 207 minutes 50 seconds this time. I am attaching the lsprof from that.

I will do the patch in #28 next; so bzr will have 3 patches now.

You mention caching a lot; while bzr is running it grows to something like 1.9 GB resident memory, so it is at least keeping *something* in memory.

I have a few questions in the meantime:
- What is being kept in the indices?
- What do the 800K nodes represent?
