Last Call for Translations and Testing Before the 1.0 Release

Written for Caffeine by pragmattica on 2009-09-28

The 1.0 release of Caffeine for Linux is now scheduled for October 6th. If you would like to see better support for you preferred language and fewer bugs, this would be a great time to get involved. To install the 1.0 release candidate, run the following three commands in your terminal:

sudo bash -c "echo 'deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/caffeine-developers/caffeine-dev/ubuntu jaunty main' >> /etc/apt/sources.list"

sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys 569113AE

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install caffeine

If you encounter any sort of bug, or even anything that seems less usable than it could be, feel free to report it here:

If you happen to have a decent command of a language other than English, our translations page is here:

To everyone who has contributed or will contribute: thanks for your support! We couldn't do it without you.
