No. We don't usually have cover art stored in the song's folder.
Therefore musicPlayers most always tries to fetch them from internet with rather unsatisifying results. In addition, to my experience even if in some way related to the artist playing, covers are not always the same than the ones displayed on the player. Therefore I doubt that musicPlayer received any from the players tested here (Rhythmbox and Exaile).
