Changes
=======

* Fixed problem in checking dependency when installing packages.
Downloaded packages will now be considered as installed when checking
dependencies. This will resolve inconsistencies between dependency
cheking in downloading and installing packages.

* Enabled reverse dependency by default. It may take too long to check
dependencies of a package, but ensures that all package dependencies and
all installed packages that might be affected will be satisfied. You can
always disable reverse dependency checking at Cube Menu=>Settings=>
Preferences=>Package Dependency Tab=>Enable Reverse Dependency Checking.

* Fixed problem in connecting to launchpad when adding PPA repository
in Windows (Unable to connect due to https certificate restrictions).
Added "--check-certificate=false" parameter in aria2c to resolve this
issue.

* Fixed problem when double-clicking listed packages view under Marked
Package's "To Install" Tab.

[Important Announcement for Cube]

We will be going to release an update for Cube 1.0.9 early next week (May 10 or May 11). It contains the latest bug fixes and enhanced package dependency checking. All Cube users are very recommended to update their Cube app to the newest Cube to avoid problems in installing packages (especially when dealing with dependencies)

Here are the detailed changes for the Cube 1.0.9 Update
1. Improved package dependency checking and make reverse dependency checking as default. We modified cube's algorithm in finding package dependencies, to make it more accurate and compatible with the apt-get's way of checking dependencies. By these modification, you can experience downloading and installing packages with no dependency issues.

2. Some bugs were fixed, like problems when clicking listed packages under Marked Packages' "To Install" tab.

If you have any questions or experiencing problems while using Cube, kindly inform us by sending email to camicrisystems@gmail.com . Thank you :)

Cube 1.0.8.406 Now Released! Adding compatibility to Ubuntu 13.04 and Linux Mint Nadia users, and above.

Written for CamicriCube by Camicri Systems on 2014-03-17

After receiving a report that Cube is not working properly (or not even running) in Ubuntu 13.04 Raring to 13.10 Saucy, and one report also in Linux Mint Petra, we deployed testing and reconfiguration/re-modification for the cube to make it compatible and running to the said distributions (Both 32 and 64 bit). This new cube is still compatible in lower distribution versions (such as Ubuntu 12.04 LTS).

If you are a user of the said distros, download the latest cube for you to use it with no problems.
Download it here at https://launchpad.net/camicricube/+download

Cube 1.0.8.406
==============

Release Notes
-------------

This release is a update for 1.0.8 release that fixed a major bug when
running Cube under Ubuntu 13.04 (Raring Ringtail) and above, because of
the missing "gksu" in the preinstalled apps of the said distro, and the
libraries compatibility issues (vs. Ubuntu 12.04).

CHANGES
=======

* Now uses pkexec to elevate Cube as root rather than "gksu", which
is not available by default in Ubuntu 13.04 and above.

* Not using lsb_release to get distribution codename and release number
since this app depends on python runtime and makes the app less portable
. Codenames and release are not recorded in the info.cube temporarily.

* Recompiled cube-mono using Ubuntu 13.10 as a host (32 bit and 64 bit)
which in effect, uses the latest mono and gtk+ libraries and to adapt to
the latest distributions.

* Added some essential terminal applications to the cube-mono bundle to
maintain backward compatibility between distribution versions.
