Cuneiform OCR system has been ported to Linux

Written for Cuneiform for Linux by Jussi Pakkanen on 2008-06-27

Cuneiform is a commercial grade OCR system developed and open sourced by Cognitive technologies. The code worked originally only on Windows. This is the first release of Cuneiform that works natively on Linux. This first release is rather bare-boned, it only recognizes a single column of text. Future releases are expected to unleash Cuneiform's powerful layout analysis system and other features.

Most of the porting was done by Jussi Pakkanen, with help from Keith Beaumont, Vincent Wagelaar and others.
