moodle (2.7.18+dfsg-1) unstable; urgency=high
* New upstream security release, released 9 January 2017.
As of Jan 16, upstream states: "A number of security related issues were
resolved. Details of these issues will be released after a period of
approximately one week to allow system administrators to safely update to
the latest version."

details. Note that the upstream 2.7 branch is supported for security fixes
only until May 2017 (LTS). For the last year, upstream has shipped a
security release every 2nd monday of each odd month; therefore we expect
next release at Mar 13, 2017.
* debian/control: s/mysql-client/default-mysql-client/: allow MariaDB
instead of Oracle MySQL. Thanks Otto. Closes: #848459
* debian/changelog: properly document security issues fixed in previous
release 2.7.17.
