No OSD for fn+Fx in kubuntu dapper on ppc

I can also confirm this on Dapper, with daily updates.

I can confirm this on iBook g4 with Dapper LTS kubuntu, worked out of the box with ubuntu

The issue that you reported is one that should be reproductable with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Gutsy Gibbon. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the actively developed release.
