Bug Description
OpenSource and FreeSoftware is all about contributing and fixing bugs that you find annoying, developping softwares because nobody else want to do it.
With Ubuntu, it becomes a huge problem because there are too few bugs and more and more users just use it and like it !
Users are no more in the mood of "I must learn assembly and C in order to be able to start a web browser under Linux" or "I must spend two years of my life to learn basic emacs text editing capabilities".
Users are using Ubuntu and loving it even without using the command line !
In order to solve this bug, I suggest to add manually a few choosen bugs in Dapper. I also suggest that we don't install X as a default. Lynx and mutt should replace Firefox and Evolution as default. In order to cope with the freesoftware spirit, you would be prompted to accept the full GPL each time you log in or you start an application. The login sound would be replaced by "Free Software Song" and the official documentation would be the "Linux Kernel development" book.
Aslo, I suggest to add a random kernel panic generator in order to practice debugging skills of our users.
This is not a bug. We can't urge people to hack Ubuntu by introducing bugs deliberately. There are a lot of real bugs to be fixed. And if people want to help in fixing bugs, I would recommend they join the Ubuntu BugSquad [https:/ /wiki.ubuntu. com/BugSquad]. Anyway, thanks a lot for reporting the bug :)
