knot cd 3: can't login in console mode

Bug Description

Hi

I can't login into the console of knot cd 3 since it asks for the login credentials (whereas in other cd's it didn't and started a shell with default user).

This makes it difficult to provide debugging information for people where X fails to start or has some bug that prevents it from showing correctly (which is my case since I suffer: https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-ati/+bug/22985).

I've tried: ubuntu/ubuntu ; ubuntu/edgy ; etc with no success. If this behaviour is desired (not login in console by default) then at least some information about where to find the login details would be nice.

This happens in both the amd64 and x86 knot cd 3.

I've tried the "Check CD for defects" test and it didn't report anything, instead it booted fine into gnome. Is this the expected behaviour?

I've tried this on another pc, trying both cd drives it has, with both isos burned on diferent cd's. I really think this is not a HW bug, but I'll wait until someone else can confirm it.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug before the final version of Edgy was released. We were wondering is this still an issue with Edgy? Thanks in advance.
