Bug Description

This is more a feature request than a bug-fix. I wish there was a way to setup the django framework in Ubuntu the easy way (ie. via synaptics or apt-get, for example).

in a comment on his weblog, Dennis Kaarsemaker talks about it:

... and Adrian Holovaty was interested too.

More information on the django project:

Thank you very much in advance.

That is a 'wontfix' for now. Django is still not API-stable and thus would be very hard to support. Yes that sucks, I know -- but the upcoming API changes in django are worth waiting for.

I think this bug can be set to "fixed", now, since Feisty proudly offers python-django 0.95
