(K)ubuntu RC on imac G5 rev A: no keyboard

Bug Description

Hello,
It is 18 month that I try to use (k)ubuntu on my imac G5 rev A. I tried the Release Candidate - released October 19th 2006.

Two issues:
- I cannot use the keyboard. Nothing works I tried French and Engish configuration but none of the tuch does something. It does not recognize the keyboard (my keyboard is the classic imac usb one).
- no fan support (it turns fast),

Also
- The (k)ubuntu logo at the login (when it boots) has ugly colors.

However the sound works... And xorg is OK at the login screen.

Please.

This bug is related to bug 23445.
Fan support seems to be a kernel issue.
