Bug Description
On my fresh Dapper install, there is no splash screen when Amarok starts. I go to the settings, and check the appropriate box, shut Amarok down, start it back up and still no splash screen.
If I remove the relevent line from /usr/share/
Show Spalshscreen=false
it works fine, I can turn the splash off an on at will.
If I set the line to "true" in k-d-s, it also works fine, I am able to change this setting from Amarok just fine. It is just when it is set to "false" in k-d-s that I cannot change it.
All the other settings in the k-d-s amarokrc are changeable just fine, it just seems to be the one item.
When I upgrade to amarok 1.4 beta3, I get the opposite action:I get the splash screen but am unable to disable it with
Show Spalshscreen=false
in k-d-s

I just checked this against amarok 2:1.3.9-0ubuntu2 and can confirm the behaviour (or not) of the splashscreen
