post-install uses root-access to mysql without pass

Bug Description

Binary package hint: bacula-director-mysql

When I try to install bacula-director-mysql, post-install fails because it tries to connect to the Database as root without password.

I guess this is not the way intended.

Maybe a interface to enter the root-pw of the MySQL would be better than let the post-install fail.

Or a hint that there is a SQL file which must be 'executed' before bacula-director is usable. I think letting post-install fail is the worst choice.

I discovered that purging bacula-director-mysql and reinstalling solves the problem, as recommended in the Debian bug tracker

This is related to dpkg-reconfigure bacula-director-mysql failing to prompt for the MySQL administrator's password.

$ sudo apt-get --purge remove bacula-director-mysql
$ sudo apt-get install bacula-director-mysql

found again in lucid. purge/install as recommended above does not resolve.
