Bug Description

The menu entries of some games do not work. For example the menu item of falconseye links to "falconseye" but calling it like this does not work in Dapper. It has to be called like /usr/games/falconseye or some environment variables have to be changed as far as I can see (it's late)

Other games that have this issue: Flight of the Amazon Queen, Supertux, LINCITY-ng, Globulationb 2

Happens in Dapper with Gnome.

also for:
freeciv
pathological
gnome-sudoku

could all these be fix by adding /usr/games to the $PATH ?

on a clean install of dapper from powerpc daily install 20060227 the path is correctly set to
/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/bin/X11:/usr/games
and so the games start from the menu.

maybe this was just a bug in the installer about setting up PATHs correctly

I believe that this was an installer bug, too. Thanks for closing.

The falconeye install for Fiesty also opens with the console.

But in the terminal if I execute /usr/games/falconeye the game launches properly
