gramps 2.0.11: Upstream Version Freeze exception

Bug Description

Please update to version 2.0.11 in Dapper. Version 2.0.10 has been out for more than two month now, 2.0.11 also only fixes bugs, many of them important. There should be no risk in updating to .11 (compared to .9)

* Date parsing and displaying improvements in all locales.
 * Numerous LDS fixes
 * Slovak translations for the interface, user manual, and the date handler
 * Numerous relationship Graph enhancements
 * GEDCOM import and export improvements.

Version 2.0.10
 * Date handler for Lithuanian language
 * New Calendar graphical report
 * Multiple tool fixes.
 * GEDCOM import and export improvements.
 * Proper rebuilding of secondary indices.
 * Open Document Format support in reports
 * Multiple report fixes.
 * Fix for low-level duplicate records.
 * User Manual updates.
 * An insane number of bug fixes.

The only addtion (beside update manual) is a well tested ODT-support which is a major selling point these days. But this new features doesn't affect other parts of GRAMPS so it can't break things!

Don't have a build-/install-log files, as I am not an Ubuntu packager.

The diffstat looks really too big for this point of our release cycle.

However, given that this package has no reverse dependencies, and upstream urges us to release with the newer version, I'm tempted to beleive them and agree to this request.

There are local ubuntu changes which we shouldn't overwrite however. Who is going to merge this?

I support having GRAPS at 2.0.11, it is a commonly used application and very popular if you search the ubuntu forums.

Actually, the only difference between the upstream sources and the existing 2.0.9-1 sources is the auto-generated makefiles and the debian/ contents:
   http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/g/gramps/gramps_2.0.9-1ubuntu2.diff.gz

The same debian/ dir will work , with one exception, due to the internationalization of man pages:

Also, we do have the ubuntu package built for 2.0.11, using the same debian dir as is in 2.0.9 with the above patch. See here:

Now that it looks OK, is there anything we the upstream can do to assist?

It seems to me that every day that 2.0.11 is not in dapper is a missed day of testing. It's better to get more testing, isn't it?
