playing some mms station does nothing

I too get the error:
(rhythmbox:21509): Rhythmbox-WARNING **: do_next_idle: Unhandled error: Unknown playback error

For this URL, as well as the other stations that were there in Rhythmbox by default as shown in the screenshot.

Is totem able to play this radio station?

Also, if you run rhythmbox from the command line, is there any error or
warning reported by the program? To log this, exit rhythmbox and then run:
   $ rhythmbox --debug 2>&1 | tee /tmp/rhythmbox.log
and attach /tmp/rhythmbox.log to this report.

It still does not seem to play anything.. so I would not call it a fix.. Thanks for your help

did you try the upstream change? because it has not been uploaded to Ubuntu yet
