Bug Description

Requesting sync of krusader from debian.
http://packages.debian.org/testing/utils/krusader

This is the version Kubuntu users expect in Dapper.
It's also in Debian Testing.
One of Kubuntus goals is to provide the newest stable KDE software to its users.
This is the version we should have.
I strongly recommend upgrading.

the diffstat still looks quite broken. Anyway, the list of mentioned addressed bugs is huge, and the additional translation is also worth to get this update in. I'd like to hear some kubuntu people comment on this.

What do you think about this update?

FWIW, I has tested 1.70.0 version for two weeks w/o any obvious regression, but with clear fixes.
By default most users just use Konquerer, but the ones using Krusader would IMHO appretiate new version.
I would personally like to see it included, but it is probably up to Kubuntu MOTUs to decide.

I still think that the diff is too for this point of the release, but if the kubuntu team confirms that they want the newer version because it fixes bugs (which I still don't linked from here!), then I won't object.

I still like to see at least one kubuntu dev to comment this report first

1.70.0-1ubuntu1 is now in edgy.

I think a separate bug has to be filed to get it into dapper backports.
