Bug Description
the new kernel seems to resolve parallel ata drives as sdX instead of hdX, which means that anyone w/ a grub type cmd line is going to have an unbootable box unless they modify the grub by hand. current kenel doesn't mention any changes or seem to deal with it.

A duplicate was just filed. To fix this, you need to change the GRUB-specified root directory to /dev/sdxx, rather than /dev/hdxx.
