Bug Description
Currently, when you open the trash can to review what's in it before deleting the items, there is no easy way to empty the trash:
1) select all files and use the context menu to delete them,
2) select all the files and use the delete key on the keyboard.
3) use the file->empty trash menu item.
Proposal:
provide a nautilus_
Here is a proposed patch which solves the problem:
http://
Note: the patch needs some cleaning up as discussed on the nautilus-mailing list, but because the patch was too late for the gnome-ui freeze it's been put on my back burner.
However, if this patch has a possibility of inclusion into dapper, I'd be willing to make some time to spend on it.

Thanks for your bug. I've read your mail upstream. The change looks good, if you come with a patch judged good by upstream before dapper UI freeze there is no reason to not use it!
