Pixelize doesn't appear in the menus (no .desktop file)

Bug Description
Pixelize doesn't appear in the menus as it comes with no .desktop file. Pixelize has an icon in /icon_bitmap , which should be installed in /usr/share/pixmaps as 'pixelize.bmp' for it to show in the menus as well. (I'm only speculating as to the extension - I don't really know).

I think there is a typo in the Icon line in your .desktop file. ;-)
