Bug Description

System : intel 630(3.0Ghz) 1024 DDR2, msi i915 board. Dapper. Locale: ko_KR-UTF8 with kubuntu.

skim doesn't work at all.
I installed skim via apt-get
and set scim with im-switch.

in default skim -d -f make scim to modify its internal plugins to skim. but it doesn't work.

and i tried modify my /etc/X11/xinit/xinput.d/ko_KR
like
XIM_PROGRAM=/usr/bin/skim
but it did't work too..

But i recompile skim manually. it does work.

I think package building is corrupted..

Please build skim with 1.4.4 which fixed the -f option issue above. Currenty to make skim work, user needs to recompile it anyway.

skim 1.4.4-0ubuntu1 is in dapper now. Can anyone test if 1.4.4-0ubuntu1 is working?
