Mehdi Abaakouk (sileht) wrote : Need upgrade to subverison 1.3.1

i have just build the source package
and subversion need neon 0.25.4 and dapper have 0.25.5

$fakeroot debian/rules configure
...
checking neon library version... 0.25.5
You have neon version 0.25.5,
but Subversion needs neon 0.25.4.

An appropriate version of neon could not be found, so libsvn_ra_dav
will not be built. If you want to build libsvn_ra_dav, please either
install neon 0.25.4 on this system

Confirming that the ra_dav module isn't built due to the neon dependency.
Upstream have updated the set of allowed neon versions, http://svn.collab.net/viewvc/svn?view=rev&revision=18215

Diff from upstream to allow version 0.25.5 of neon - applies with offset to the version in Ubuntu's package.

Adam Conrad will be updating Dapper's version to 1.3.1, which supports the current neon without above patches.

Hello! First of all let me say I am truly regretting doing this. This is a spam message sent to all critical bug message lists. It's purpose: making this (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/acpi-support/+bug/59695) bug critical too. This is a long standing bug and has a very serious impact on laptop type of hardware. It's priority is set to "wishlist" and I just cannot take this anymore. I DO NOT CARE if my account gets suspended. I am doing what's right for all my friends using Ubuntu on their laptops.
