Bug Description
"Build-Depends: debhelper (>= 4.0.0), python (>= 2.3), python (<< 2.4), python-dev (>= 2.3), python-dev (<< 2.4)"
This package fails to build because python and python-dev are at 2.4 in Ubuntu. Removing these versioned deps, and replacing python2.3 with python2.4 fixes the FTBFS and the generated package works without a problem.

Apply this patch to the latest dapper source package and it should work.
