We have some older software that links against libXaw.so.6. It cannot be executed because of the following error:

symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libXaw.so.6: undefined symbol: xawPrintShellWidgetClass

The software worked on Ubuntu Hoary, but on Breezy we get this error.

Sorry that I didn't report back before. I don't have the possibility to
run dapper right now as I have breezy in a production system and that is
where I need the bugfix.

I have tried to load the library from dapper with a LD_LIBRARY_PATH
setting on my breezy system and it solves the problem. Is that test good
enough for you?

Strange, I still get the bug on breezy, what do you put in your LD_LIBRARY_PATH to workaround the bug ?

Sorry I misread your post.
so tome is still unusable on standard breezy installation, I will see if we can push a working version in the repos.

version 2.3.3 seems to work on breezy, but it isn't in the repository; 2.3.1 is there.
