Bug Description

Last page of the FAQ in ubuntu-docs 5.10-2 (Upgrading Ubuntu) starts with:
"How to upgrade from Breezy Badger to Breezy Badger +1 (experimental)?" but then the following instructions are those related to "how to upgrade Ubuntu after a CD installation".

I think this is a good thing, which is why I left it as is. What we are trying to avoid here is lots of people upgrading to the development version of Ubuntu then complaining when it breaks their system. Those that know what they are doing will understand what we mean, and will ask what to put instead of "breezy+1".

I understand your worries, they are correct. But, in any case, the page gives an incorrect information. You could remove that page. Experimental users will know what to do.

From one point of view, there is a strong argument for removing the offending page. I think we should only leave the page in _if_ we feel that we can satisfactorily explain to users the consequences and dangers of dist-upgrading to an unstable version (there is no denying that the nature of Ubuntu development means that Ubuntu unstable is pretty unstable by comparison with e.g. debian). If we can do that, I think that the page should be left in, because it is important that enough people test the unstable version, in order to filter out bugs and so on.

I can't see why we can't now. Initially it was a bad thing but as we need people testing dapper, why not?

I was basically talking about the next version of the document. In terms of the breezy version, you think there is a case for fixing it in an -update?
