Bug Description

Im now using Dapper Flight CD 7 not upgraded yet, installed with the WONDERFUL Desktop CD. When I logout my KDE session, KDM doesn't appears. Instead, Dapper shows the USplash screen with the Kubuntu's logo. It happened in all versions of Kubuntu i tried, since Flight 4.
The relevant PC specs are:
AMD Sempron 2400+
256 MB DDR SDRAM PC-2700
20GB 5400RPM HD as hdc (Primary IDE is used by the two Optical Drives because the IDE cable of HD is too short :P )
ATI Radeon 7000 64MB AGP 4x (using driver ATI on X.org 7)
Mother Board PC Chips M825G
Creative SoundBlaster Live! 24-bit (using driver CA0106)

Interesting. This is the same as 'gnome-session' under GNOME is doing.

Changed in usplash:
status: Unconfirmed → Rejected
Changed in kdm:
status: Unconfirmed → Needs Info

Do you still have this problem with Dapper final or a newer release?
