Bug Description

Vim 6.3 does not support cmake-syntax and indendation. For more information read

http://www.cmake.org/Wiki/CMake_Editors_Support

There are two files you need to support cmake in vim:

http://www.cmake.org/CMakeDocs/cmake-syntax.vim

http://www.cmake.org/CMakeDocs/cmake-indent.vim

Add them in $VIMDIR/indent and $VIMDIR/syntax for dapper, please.

As KDE4 needs cmake it would be very nice if you would backport cmake-support to Ubuntu Dapper. In vim 7 the files have been merged.

and
http://svn.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.cgi/vim/vim7/runtime/indent/cmake.vim?view=markup&rev=25

Well, vim 7 is in Edgy. So the bug is "fixed" in Edgy. Of course it is still valid in Dapper.

This is fixed in Edgy, as you mention, so it should be closed here. If you would like to request that this be backported, please see the appropriate section in https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuBackports.
