Enable Ubuntu users with no midi chips sound cards to use software midi synth.
Currenty , if a user wants to play midi files an he has a souncard with not hardware midi synth, there seem not easy and ready made way for that. As can be seen from [1] and other similar threads on forums, there are also several instructions on the web for doing so, not always in sync between each other. It would be nice to have an out of the box solution, that caters for the more common case on the laptops - setting up and shipping a software based midi synth for midi playback.
