Bug Description

Missing charsets in String to FontSet conversion when you closes emacs

Launch 'emacs' or 'emacs21'.

Select Options -> Customize Emacs -> Top-level Customization Group

The first setting is Confirm Kill Emacs
click on Value Menu to set Ask with y-or-n-p
and save this setting with a click on State.

Now if you click on the cross to quit Emacs you will see these warnings :

Warning: Missing charsets in String to FontSet conversion
Warning: Unable to load any usable fontset

I don't have theses warnings on Fedora Core 3 with Emacs 21.3.

The same problem appears with xfig. Maybe it's in the widget library.

You can solve this by running emacs as follows:

You're right but it is not really a fix.

Baltix doesn't have nor docbook-defguide, nor emacs21 package, so this is not Baltix GNU/Linux bug. It seems this bug exists in Ubuntu distribution.
