downunder: Geophysical Inversion in Escript

Escript can now be used for 3D inversion of geophyscial data. The next release will come with the new downunder module which is designed to solve large scale inversion problems using the escript infrastructure. The first version will include the joint inversion of gravitational and magnetic data.
Bug fixed in 3.3 installer for ubuntu precise

If you have not been able to install escript 3.3 on Ubuntu precise; there is a new .deb file in the downloads area which should fix the problem

Next release is planned for end of June. There will be a few bug fixes and a special solver for rectangular grids (Ripley).

Escript 3.2.1 release complete

The linux standalone files as well as the debian family files have new packages (3.2.1-2) to replace the (3.2.1-1) versions which were built without netcdf support.
