Comment 1 for bug 1990969

To save potential rebasing again in the future, I have pushed the chagnes for this bug along with those for bug 1947728 to combined branches in the Evergreen and OpenSRF working repositories. Testing the branches is pretty straightforward. You should no longer be able to install prerequisites for Debian Stretch or Ubuntu Bionic Beaver. All other supported distros should still work as expected.
