I'm not sure. AFAIK, there are no applications that delete informations without warning or without a way to undo it.

The GTG workflow is very clear about that : delete is something very rare. (that's why the button itself is less visible than mark as down or dismiss).

At some point, we cannot please every user from every background. In Nautilus, there's, afaik, no way to delete permanently a file without confirmation. I see GTG as a Nautilus for tasks. Agreeing to kokoshmusun request would enable an user to permanently and irrevocably delete a task simply by pushing one key (del) !!!! That's not something anybody want to have.
