I'm also a Windows user using nexusfont to temporarily load fonts into memory for design projects.

This issue has me stuck using vs. 0.48. I cannot upgrade to the new versions as a designer without using my font library conveniently - ie. without clogging up windows font directory and filling memory by installing hundreds of fonts to my OS.

So, adding my +1 to please fix this for vs. 0.93 :) Love Inkscape and have a big time investment learning it. Very sad about this issue :(
