I installed a TrueType font using File Explorer (Windows 10's name for Windows Explorer) and the "Install as shortcut" option, my preferred option for installing fonts. Inkscape 0.92 did not see the font. I then installed the same font using File Explorer and the "Install" option. Inkscape 0.92 did see the font. This is a work-around for me but it's not ideal. No other program has this issue, only Inkscape.
