Comment 40 for bug 453931

This issue started happening to me recently and I couldn't figure out why, but I think I have: Firefox.

I can cause this error 100% of the time if Firefox is running on my system, and Inkscape starts normally if Firefox is not open. I can have lots of other programs open-- Chrome, mumble, Pidgin, GIMP, etc.-- and Inkscape starts normally, but if Firefox is running first it will not open. I can start Firefox second and both seem to work correctly.
