I hit the same problem today.

I was using Inkscape 0.47+devel r9596. When I hit the issue I upgraded to the latest version, Inkscape 0.48.2 r9819.

Both versions hit the 0xC0000005 error every time, but shutting down and restarting windows fixed the issue.

Before the reboot I captured a couple of minidumps using WinDBG. They were taken at the Second Chance exception handler breakpoint.

A dump taken with the windbg command ".dump /mhit" is attached. The dump with everything ".dump /ma" is 75Mb so I haven't included it here. I'm happy to upload it if it would be useful.
