mpt, i like this suggestion. i would make the _leave the team_ link point to the team's +leave page, and the _subscribe_ link point to the team's +mailinglist page. this latter should get filled out to be appropriate for both team members and team admins.

if the person is already subscribed to the list, then it should read:

you are subscribed to the team mailing list. (_unsubscribe_)

this _unsub_ link should probably immediately unsubscribe you from the list. that satisfies my one-click-leave requirement. it's always easy to resubscribe if you mess up.
