Same issue on my Dell Inspiron 5482 with:
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 27c6:538c Shenzhen Goodix Technology Co.,Ltd. Fingerprint Reader

which used to work on 20.04 LTS.
Will the goodix driver need to be updated?
