Libfreespace 0.7 adds support for the FSM-9 sensor module from Hillcrest Labs. Primary interface changes are the following:
- The FSM-9 no longer boots up in a data mode. The user must use the Data Mode Control V2 message to assign a data mode when you want to receive data
- The FSM-9 uses the MotionEngine Output message format for output data. This is a configurable packet that lets the user select the data they want to use
- Utility messages have been added to make parsing the MotionEngine Output simple and easy
- The libfreespace build process now uses CMake.
New Features:
- Added ability to modify the sample rate of the module (requires FSM-9)
- Added new power management and activity classification information messages and events
