Release notes 

This release marks a major step in Lifeograph's development progress. Although the user visible changes are by no means revolutionary; the infrastructural changes bring the program to a new level opening up many possibilities for the future releases.

This is an ALPHA release, intended for preview and feed-back. Many of the changes have yet to be tested thoroughly. So,

DO NOT USE THIS RELEASE FOR REAL JOURNALING PURPOSES AND ALWAYS BE PREPARED TO LOSE DATA WHILE USING IT.

And a note to

DOWNSTREAM MAINTAINERS: PLEASE DO NOT PACK THIS VERSION, IT IS NOT READY FOR THAT.

* Switched the build system of choice to "Waf"
* Switched to a plain text file based settings storage system, thus
* Removed the dependency to Gconfmm
* Improved the infrastructure substantially to ease further development of the program
* Added a preferences dialog that enables changing auto-logout and background picture settings in the gui
* Added the ability to sort entries by size
* Added summary views for the open diary and selected month, tag, or chapter that show some information about them as well as providing some editing facilities
* Added a text formatting submenu to the textview right-click menu

* Tweaked main window layout to use less vertical space
* Added Italian and Polish translations and updated existing translations
* [Regression] Replace and replace all functionality is temporarily disabled for this release
