Written for Little Registry Cleaner by Nick on 2011-11-03

Today we released version 1.5.1 "11022011" of Little Registry Cleaner. This is a maintenance release that fixes several bugs that we failed to address in v1.5. An important bug that was fixed was users running Windows 2000/XP/2003 not being able to create scheduled scans. We have also fixed a couple bugs relating to our software analytics library DeskMetricsNET. Cheers!

Written for Little Registry Cleaner by Nick on 2010-07-19

Today we are proud to release version 1.4.2 of Little Registry Cleaner. In this version, we have addressed the bug that prevents registry keys from being removed due to ACL restrictions, added a bilingual version of the portable edition, and we have added Persian translations (Thanks Saeed D.) and fixed the Swedish translations (Thanks Björn N.). I would also like to thank Dmitriy P. for pointing out some bugs in this release. We also have a new program released called "Little Disk Cleaner" that scans your computer for junk files to free up hard drive space. It can be downloaded @ http://www.littleapps.co.cc/lildiskcleaner/download.html.

Since the last release in November, I have released v1.4.1 which contains several fixes. This is a minor update that contains fixes for some of the translations, the uninstall manager works with 64bit computers and some other things were fixed as well. Please stay tuned for a new program we are working on that will scan and remove unused files such as internet history, cookies, and other unneeded files. I would also like to thank everyone for supporting this project!

Don't Get Scammed!

Written for Little Registry Cleaner by Nick on 2010-03-09

It has come to my attention that people are trying to profit from our hard work. If you come across a registry cleaner or optimizer that is licensed under the GNU GPLv3 and is being sold, do not pay for it and get your money back! You can get the exact same product for free and not have to worry about your personal information. These people are simply renaming my program and using a loophole in the GNU GPLv3 that allows the program to be sold. I am not sure how many programs are out there but I know there is one called "SysBooster". If you discover a program that is trying to scam you, then please contact me so I can look into it further.

Version 1.4 Hot Fix Released

Written for Little Registry Cleaner by Nick on 2009-11-22

A bug in v1.4 that affects the restore component has been discovered. Instead of it saving restore files to the backup directory, it saves them to the program settings directory. Please read "install.txt" for information on how to install the hot fix.

Note: This fix is not mandatory because the system restore will still work to restore the registry.
