Comment 6 for bug 650647

http://loco.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-website/media/images/footer.png is a 5x3 png fading from dark to light, the three shades are #9f9d9c #c6c4c3 #e1dfdd so none of which are a pure grey and none are #EEECEA to #F7F7F7 but they are both heading in that general direction. I would be inclined not to change it because there it doesn't look worse with the change of the background colour, we are not creating a new missmatch, and there is no basis for any of those colours in the design toolkit.
