I just updated upstream site for mudita24 from googlecode to https://github.com/NielsMayer/mudita24/ and seem to have made myself maintainer of this package :-) . As the Ubuntu package is based on version 1.03 and probably doesn't even work with the latest gtk, I figured someone needs to drive a working version of this essential application for envy24 soundcards. Furthermore, as the soundcard was in danger of perishing with the 16.04LTS release's 4.4 kernel, I figured a concerned upstream representative (a developer on the project) was needed for testing and follow-through. Please let me know what is needed to get the latest version on Ubuntu. It is entirely possible that without update from 1.03 version, Ubuntu's current version won't work at all, due to https://github.com/NielsMayer/mudita24/issues/6
