Comment 1 for bug 1065549

Solved:

In essex we had the following parameter in the nova.conf

#volume_name_template=volume-%08x

We copied it over to folsom.

Once I pounded out the parameter and restarted nova-volumes I was able to create the volume.

Please close this item. This is not a bug.
