I don't have the knowledge to judge whether the extension is in good shape or not. According to marmuta's tests, the extension is not really ready yet, and I do agree with marmuta that the gnome-integration of Onboard is welcome under the condition that it is behaving and working properly in the various areas of the GNOME desktop environment.

To reiterate marmuta's last paragraph here above, we need somebody that works on the extension in order to improve it and that communicates with him about it.

The question about packaging it for the distribution will probably be a lesser problem that can be solved later.
