You may want to ignore the previous comment/exception, if you're not sure why it
would happen. Because after a reboot, things seem to be fine. I am surprised
though. The only onbard related stuff running is the onboard.py process. I had
killed it and ran onboard -ddebug and it threw that exception.

And now, the same packages, seem to be working fine. Including the functionality
for auto-show/hide.
