Thanks for reviewing this. I wonder if it makes sense (if defaults will remain as they are now) to print a warning when this is detected, instead of silently setting them to 0?
Something like:
"[Warning] Some fields have been truncated to 0 due to <insert explanation>. Use --attribute-value-limit=0 if you want to override this check. <link to doc, bug, etc.>"
