SERIOUS: Permission Problem for Student Logon into CanDo

Manager logon is "manager," password "acc4.us"

O'Day logon is "Tom_Oday", password "today"

This bug is curious, becuase it DOESN'T reproduce on the acc public server, where I CAN change a student password and still log on as student. Wondering if something more complicated going on with permissions.

I have researched this bug more, and cannot get around the problem of a student not being able to log into their CanDo section. I can create a section by a new title, put the student in, see the student as a teacher, but not be able to log in as a student. You'd think it would be permissions, but I have "view" permission turned on everywhere I can find for students. The students also are members of the group students, where they also have view permission, but this does not help.

BIG CLUE FOUND. Definitely the problem is in the permission settings. When I turn on all permissions for students, I can log on as a student and see the section. I'm just unsure what to turn on and what to turn off, both for the group students and for individual students (does group override???, complement????). But the problem is permissions. Maybe it's user error. Need to research more. Paul, maybe you and I could get on the phone and talk through permissions.

I would suggest anytime between 3pm (12noon for you) and 8pm (5pm for

I could even do 12midnite (9pm) to 2am (11pm) my time. But that would
be least preferred, as my brain slows down significantly at that time.
