Bug Description
Binary package hint: totem-mozilla
The totem-mozilla plugin included from edgy on automatically runs on full screen videos as well as embedded videos. When you go to a website containing a video, you typically want to watch it embedded in the browser when it is embedded in the site, but want to download it if you are just clicking a file.
For example, thatvideosite.com has embedded wmv's. These work fine, but then you can click "Download this video" and instead of downloading, it opens as a full screen plugin.
There is also no obvious way to disable the plugin for certain file types in the default install. You currently have to go into about:config, change browser.
Some sort of better system should be implemented.
